‘Tis the tale of princes one and two,

the story of their dreadful plight-

It’s a fairy tale, plain and true,

And it started one fateful night.

Both were blonde and of the same height.

But differed in every other way.

One bright and gay, one full of fight.

When the sky was a deep dark blue,

and the moon gave off silver light,

the witch took all his as her cue.

One prince fell to her wicked might.

The other went out to make things right,

Armed with magic, love, and the fae.

He had only until daylight.

He set off, bidding his frog prince adieu.

He walked until she was in sight.

The grass was just coated in dew.

His wand let out a light so bright;

he hit his mark with grim delight.

The witch began to fade away,

melting into the morning light.

Trust happily ever after.

He was led home by pixies and sprites,

He sprinted to where his prince lay.

They gazed and stared, then smiled outright.
